Hosea’s life story is one of the most tragic and poignant examples in the Bible. He was called by God to marry an unfaithful woman, to buy her back from slavery, returning to her again and again. Her faithlessness was so great that he named his second son Lo-Ammi, or “not my people.” God showed us through Hosea that sin takes a great toll on our relationship with him, but do we truly understand?
