Who Shines for God?

Scripture(s): 2 Thessalonians 1:1-8 

Who do the best of the best praise?  They praise those who truly shine.  When we think of faithful disciples, what characteristics shine?

Cultivating a Godly Attitude toward Persecution and Suffering

Scripture(s): 2 Thessalonians 1:9-12 

We say we want God’s best for us.  However, sometimes wanting that best requires something greater than common sense.  It requires believing in God’s character over what we are experiencing.

The Man of Lawlessness

When we think about the end times, we can shy away from the parts that bother us.  However, if God has revealed it, we must be ready.

Responding to the Hard Stuff

Ignoring the sins of others doesn’t have to come due to sin or complacency. Sometimes, familiarity makes us comfortable with the lack of growth in ourselves or others. Paul challenges us to be different.
